As you can see from the picture I have just been to Market in Atlanta. I had a great time shopping, dining and enjoying time with my wonderful friend from the olden days (college). Kerri owns a gift shop in Burlington, Iowa called the Tattered Parasol. That's her in the background. I bought a pig, looks like she just got eggs. Not really, there were no pigs to be bought in Atlanta. So instead I bought jewelry, candles, potpourri, wall art, stuffed animals, lamps, rugs, stationary, magnets, flowers and wreaths, gourmet food and so much other stuff that I could not begin to list it all. Why don't you just stop in and take a look. And when you do, just mention to myself or Darlene that you read this silly, long, ridiculous blog and we will give you 15% off your purchase anytime during the month of February. I noticed my friend left her super expensive, hard to figure out camera at my house. I called her to tell her that it was at my house so she wouldn't worry that perhaps she lost it. While placing it back into the bag I saw that it was on autofocus. I thought, hummmm, perhaps I could take a few pictures of the store. Following is my first attempt at photography. I think I might need a class or two...

This was fun. I am going to try to post more pictures tomorrow. Hopefully she won't pick up her camera tonight.

We are busy at The Olive Branch. Fall merchandise is arriving daily and we are excited about the change. My, hasn't it been a long, hot summer. However, I haven't forgotten our long, cold winter. Vote here if you would like for it to be fall until spring. If that were possible, I believe I would have the busiest store/voting booth in Council Bluffs. We may as well give it a try.
